Same-Day Crowns

Custom Made

Sometimes your teeth are unable to be repaired with just a filling, but instead a dental crown to help add strength back to your tooth. The material we use to create crowns is the latest development in aesthetic dentistry because we want you to have both a strong and a great-looking crown. They’re custom-made to fit your tooth specifically, to fix any fractures or imperfections you may have. You can think of crowns as a step up from a filling, to fix what a filling cannot. Fillings are used when your tooth is still strong while a crown has the additional perk of restoring strength back into a weakened tooth.

The process is similar to crowns as it is with fillings. Once your crown is placed on your tooth after removing any decay, the material will then be cured with a special light. Then, your dentist will adjust and shine it as needed. You might experience some temperature sensitivity, but it should reside within a few days. If it lasts a week or longer, then please reach out and contact your dentist.

If you come in for a crown and we discover that you aren’t a candidate, we’re more than happy to discuss other treatment options with you. If you have missing teeth, we offer a variety of technologies to restore those spaces. One option (but not the only one) is implants.
